Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to consider an available full-time position with Liberty Healthcare at DHCI - a skilled nursing facility located in Smyrna, Delaware. In this role, you will focus on providing primary care to a case load of approximately forty older adults and people who are living with various physical and cognitive disabilities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Daily patient evaluation through rounding on units Conducting examinations, performing diagnostic tests, providing preventive care, developing and managing treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases, and prescribing medications Providing consultation and health education to nursing and ancillary staff Collaborating with the facility's Medical Director, nursing team, and ancillary staff Actively participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings As a Nurse Practitioner and full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare, you can expect: Starting salary of $110,000 Nice work / life balance Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, and disability insurance 30 days of paid time off each year for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days Health Savings Account, 401k plan, and other perks View details regarding Liberty's benefits plan at Skills & Requirements You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally in Delaware as a Nurse Practitioner and have clinical competence in the care of adult and geriatric patients.
