We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our psychiatry office on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care and collaborating with our team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans under the supervision of the psychiatrist. Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate, in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols. Perform follow-up consultations and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with the psychiatric team to ensure integrated, patient-centered care. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR). Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, medications, and treatment options. Stay current on psychiatric best practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Florida. Certification in psychiatric mental health (PMHNP) preferred. At least 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatry or mental health settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
