Job Description
Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner 12190 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34613 From $110,000 a year - Full-time From $110,000 a year - Full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (APRN) Hernando Gastroenterology Associates Helping our patients get the right answer, the right plan, and the right next step — without delay. About the Practice Hernando Gastroenterology Associates (HGA) is a community gastroenterology practice serving Hernando County, Florida. We care for a diverse patient population including Medicare, Medicare Advantage, commercial, and Medicaid managed care members. Our gastroenterologists manage the full breadth of luminal and hepatobiliary disease — from screening colonoscopy and reflux care to biologic management of IBD, advanced liver disease, and post-procedure complication management. We round at local hospitals and work closely with primary care and specialty colleagues across the region. Position Summary We are hiring an experienced Nurse Practitioner to see new and established GI patients, run a full outpatient clinic schedule, cover inpatient GI consults at our affiliated hospitals, and serve as the clinical point of contact for patients between physician visits. You will evaluate presenting symptoms, formulate an initial diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan. For complex or unclear cases, you will collaborate directly with our Board Certified Gastroenterologist for guidance, joint planning, and a warm handoff when the case warrants physician-led management. If you want broad clinical scope, real physician partnership, and a role where patient responsiveness is treated as a clinical safety standard rather than a service nicety, we want to meet you.
