Valor Health Solutions is a mission-driven outpatient mental health clinic specializing in innovative ketamine-assisted therapies, evidence-based , protocol-driven interventional mental health treatments, including ketamine- and esketamine-based services for clinically appropriate patients. Valor Health Solutions provides physician collaboration/supervision support in accordance with applicable Florida law, clinic protocols, and provider scope of practice. The provider will work within a supported multidisciplinary clinical team structure. POSITION SUMMARY
The Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider will play a central role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate ketamine-based treatment services and interventional mental health treatment services to our patient population. This position requires a licensed clinician with active DEA registration, or the ability to obtain DEA registration prior to start, who is comfortable operating in a dynamic, patient-centered outpatient environment. The provider will administer and monitor Spravato treatment sessions, administer and oversee ketamine infusion therapy under established clinic protocols, collaborate closely with the supervising/collaborating physician and clinical team, and participate in select clinical education or community outreach activities as appropriate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Care & Treatment Administer and monitor Spravato treatment sessions in accordance with REMS program requirements and clinic protocols, including direct observation of self-administration, vital-sign monitoring, assessment for sedation, dissociation, blood-pressure changes, clinical response, discharge readiness, and completion of required documentation. Oversee intravenous ketamine infusion therapy under established clinic protocols, including pre-treatment screening, intra-treatment monitoring, response assessment, documentation, and escalation to the supervising/collaborating physician when clinically indicated. Oversee and prescribe at home oral ketamine therapies with established clinical protocols including pre-treatment screening and ongoing monitoring. Collaborate with the supervising/collaborating physician, mental health therapists, and care coordinators to ensure holistic, integrated patient care. Develop, review, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient response and clinical judgment in collaboration with the supervising/collaborating physician and care team. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record system in accordance with HIPAA regulatory standards, clinic policies, and payer requirements. Adhere to all applicable state and federal prescribing regulations, DEA requirements, REMS requirements, and clinic policies regarding controlled substances. Participate in quality, safety, and protocol-review processes related to Spravato and ketamine-based treatment services. Community Engagement & Education Participate, as schedule allows, in select community outreach events, health fairs, and veteran-focused programs. Participate in or support educational seminars and informational events focused on evidence-based mental health care, treatment-resistant depression, veteran mental health, and appropriate patient education regarding interventional treatment options . Support leadership, as needed, in outreach efforts involving veteran communities, mental health organizations, and referral partners. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Required Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start date, with controlled-substance authority appropriate to the role and consistent with Florida law, clinic protocols, and provider scope of practice. Active, unrestricted Florida APRN license, or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure prior to start date. Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain prior to start. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal communication and patient-centered bedside manner. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team. Commitment to patient confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, safety, documentation standards, and professional ethics. Comfort working with patients with complex behavioral health needs, trauma histories, and treatment-resistant symptoms. Preferred Licensure & Credentials Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), strongly preferred. Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) w ith relevant behavioral health, infusion, emergency, primary care, or interventional treatment experience. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), or other advanced clinical credential with relevant infusion, anesthesia, or interventional treatment experience. Prior experience with ketamine infusion therapy, esketamine/Spravato, interventional psychiatry, infusion medicine, or treatment-resistant mood disorder populations. Background working with veterans, PTSD, trauma-related conditions, or treatment-resistant mental health populations. Familiarity with REMS certification programs. Experience with outpatient behavioral health documentation, measurement-based care, and collaborative care models. WHAT WE OFFER
