Job Description
Recruit Secure is collaborating with a for-profit Healthcare organization that is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and caring Nurse Practitioner (N-P) with expertise in Wound Care for direct hire . The company provides Nurse- Practitionersto several Skilled Nursing homesin Jacksonville, FL (these facilities are clustered in the Jacksonville area) to work with the facilities' nursing team to improve quality care and reduce re-hospitalizations. This position can be part-time (2-3 days) or full-time (5 days), depending on your preferences and/or your location and proximity to the Nursing Homes. Scheduling is flexible. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with experience assessing, evaluating, and documenting skin and wound conditions, have an in-depth knowledge of treatment protocols and best practices, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment with a best-in-class team. Some Responsibilities :
Conduct routine check-ups and examinations to assess skin and wound conditions Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions and develop plans of care Implementing orders and treatments Evaluating the progress of specialized skin and wound conditions Evaluate new admissions Document status and care plans and monitor changes Notify the House physician and family of changes Provide Wound Care education to nursing staff Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patientsRequirements:
Current FL State RN license FL Licensed Nurse Practitioner At least 2+ years' experience in the care and treatment of wounds In-depth understanding of Wound Care protocols and treatments Ability to train Nursing teams on policies and protocols for the prevention and care of wounds Experience in Skilled Nursing Homes is a plus but n ot mandatory Basic Computer skills and experience with EMR software Excellent communication skills Ability to collaborate with Nursing teams and Medical Directors. #IND123Similar jobs in Jacksonville, FL
