We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team of professionals and contribute to the mental wellness of our diverse patient population.
Job Summary Position Overview:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide direct patient care by conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in psychiatric care and have a passion for delivering patient-centered mental health services. This position is In-Person or Hybrid; in-person and telehealth. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide medication management and monitor patient responses to treatments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Participate in case reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of care practices. Provide psychotherapy and counseling services, including individual and group therapy as appropriate. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with all legal and regulatory standards. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options. Stay current with the latest psychiatric research and best practices. Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification. Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of psychiatric nursing. Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and therapeutic techniques. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Availability to work Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays In-Person or Hybrid.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Experience working in outpatient and/or inpatient psychiatric settings. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Autism Spectrum Disorder Evaluation Early Childhood Psychiatry Children 5 and under Eating Disorder Evaluation and Management Experience with structured diagnostic tools and psychiatric rating scales Comfort managing complex psychiatric cases with medical comorbidities Experience working within multidisciplinary teams Strong familiarity with higher-acuity outpatient psychiatry Join our team to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals seeking mental health support while working in a collaborative environment focused on quality patient care.
