Job Description

Job Description Lower Keys Medical Center - Key West, Florida , is seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated Behavioral Health Services Team . This 100% outpatient role offers a unique opportunity to provide follow-up care to patients recently discharged from the Behavioral Health Unit and to treat patients in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will diagnose, treat, and manage psychiatric conditions in both the outpatient and intensive outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric care and be passionate about providing high-quality care to those in need.

8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Responsibilities:
Provide follow-up care to patients discharged from the Behavioral Health Unit. Treat patients in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Diagnose, treat, and manage psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting. Offer psychotherapy and medical management to patients. Conduct office-based psychiatric appointments, including mental health assessments and medication management. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in psychiatric care. Must have psychiatric experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
