Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, Part-time Opportunity!
Lakeland, FL Salary:
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience ($50-65 an hr)
Part-Time Schedule:
10-12 hours per week Flexible scheduling Excellent opportunity for supplemental income
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing wellness-focused healthcare practice on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for an experienced provider looking for flexible hours while delivering primary care, wellness services, and injury-related treatment to a diverse patient population. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and routine medical examinations
  • Diagnose and treat minor illnesses and common medical conditions
  • Perform school, sports, and employment physicals
  • Administer injections, immunizations, and routine treatments
  • Provide IV infusion therapy services
  • Evaluate and treat patients involved in auto accident and personal injury cases
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, wellness strategies, and preventative care
Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted Florida Nurse Practitioner license
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Family Medicine, Primary Care, or General Practice experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
  • Comfortable treating patients across a wide range of ages
  • Experience with personal injury or auto accident patients is a plus
  • Orthopedic knowledge or experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment About the
