This position focuses strictly on medical evaluations and documentation for the Department of Veterans Affairs and does not involve prescribing medications, ongoing patient care, or treatment planning. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and a lower-stress clinical environment while continuing to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Veterans. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive medical disability evaluations for Veterans Review medical history, records, and supporting documentation Complete structured assessment templates and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) Conduct focused physical examinations as required Accurately document findings in a timely manner Maintain professionalism and compassionate patient interactions Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with company and VA standards Position Highlights No prescribing responsibilities No treatment plans or follow-up care required No call requirements Flexible scheduling options available Training and documentation support provided Predictable clinic environment Competitive pay structure Qualifications Active and unrestricted Florida license as: Nurse Practitioner (NP) Physician Assistant (PA) Strong assessment and documentation skills Ability to work independently and efficiently Professional communication and bedside manner Prior experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational medicine, orthopedics, physical medicine, or disability evaluations preferred but not required Compensation Competitive 1099 compensation based on exam volume and complexity.
