Independent Contractor (1099) About the Opportunity We are hiring two part-time Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our physician-led inpatient rehab and pain management team serving Melbourne and Palm Bay, Florida. This role involves rounding in facility-based settings focused on rehabilitation, recovery, pain management, and continuity of care. We are seeking reliable, professional providers who value a collaborative environment, predictable scheduling, and efficient workflows. Providers currently credentialed and/or holding active privileges within the Health First system — including Palm Bay Hospital and Holmes Regional Medical Center — are strongly preferred to facilitate expedited onboarding and operational coverage needs. If you are not currently credentialed, we are still open to speaking with motivated candidates willing to complete the credentialing process. Documentation is built into the daily workflow, allowing providers to complete charting during scheduled hours rather than after-hours at home. Compensation & Schedule We are hiring for two separate part-time positions: Weekday NP/PA Position Approximately 8 hours/day

About the Practice We are a physician-owned practice focused on: Inpatient Rehabilitation Care Hospital-Based Pain Management Continuity-focused patient care Optional future involvement in outpatient spine clinic services may be available for providers interested in additional hours or expanded procedural and musculoskeletal exposure. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and follow-up visits in facility settings Monitor rehabilitation progress and functional recovery goals Assist with pain management treatment plans under physician collaboration Coordinate care with therapists, nursing staff, case management, and attending physicians Educate patients and families regarding treatment expectations and care continuity Complete documentation before the end of scheduled shifts QualificationsRequired Active Florida NP or PA License Board Certification DEA License (or ability to obtain) Preferred Existing credentialing and/or active privileges within the Health First system Experience in PM&R, inpatient rehab, hospital medicine, geriatrics, orthopedics, or pain management Strong communication skills, professionalism, and clinical reliability Experience is not required for the right candidate.
