Job Description

Position Summary VivaMas Medical Centers is seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our growing healthcare team on a part-time 1099 basis at our Kendall medical center. This in-person position offers a consistent Saturday schedule from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The APRN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our senior population in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. The APRN will perform patient evaluations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on preventive health and wellness. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients Conduct physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and preventive care Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within EMR systems Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Promote continuity of care and positive patient outcomes Qualifications Current and unrestricted APRN license in the State of Florida DEA license (if applicable) Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred Experience working with Medicare and/or geriatric patients preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Experience with EMR/EHR systems Working Environment Fast-paced outpatient medical center environment Direct interaction with elderly patients and multidisciplinary teams Combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities Collaborative and supportive workplace culture Adherence to infection control, HIPAA, and safety protocols required Use of EMR/EHR systems and medical equipment as part of daily responsibilities AHCA Requirements All candidates must be able to successfully complete and maintain AHCA Level 2 background screening requirements in accordance with Florida regulations.
