Ocala, FL Cardiology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
New Graduates Welcome to Apply | Collaborative Cardiovascular Practice Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida (CVI), a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding cardiovascular team. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced Cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers while caring for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Providers will gain valuable experience in both hospital and ambulatory settings within a supportive environment focused on teamwork, mentorship, and clinical development. Whether you are beginning your career or bringing prior clinical experience, this role provides an excellent opportunity to develop specialized cardiovascular knowledge while making a meaningful impact on patient care. What You'll Do
Provide cardiovascular care in both hospital and clinic settings
Conduct patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and comprehensive assessments
Participate in hospital rounding and cardiovascular consults
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
Manage medications and ongoing patient care needs
Order and review diagnostic studies, laboratory testing, and cardiac imaging
Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Schedule & Practice Highlights
Full-time position
Monday through Friday schedule
Shared call responsibilities
Combination of inpatient and outpatient cardiology exposure
Collaborative APP and physician team environment
Mentorship and onboarding support available
Exposure to a diverse cardiovascular patient population
Established and growing cardiovascular practice

Qualifications
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
Interest in cardiovascular medicine
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team-based care model
Cardiology experience is welcome but not required
New graduate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are encouraged to apply
