The psychiatry practice specializes in many common mental health conditions that affect adults, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance abuse. In addition to providing comprehensive medication management, the innovative practice also offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy for medication-resistant depression.Benefits:

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and demonstrate expertise in internal medicine. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based medical care. The role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and managing patient cases. Duties- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations, including triage and utilization review, to diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating anatomical knowledge and current clinical research.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Manage patient cases, including utilization management and case management.
- Implement and maintain infection control practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Stay current with the latest developments in internal medicine and utilize this knowledge to inform patient care. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Postgraduate experience in internal medicine or a related specialty.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience with utilization review and case management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and staying current with the latest clinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient health and their requirements with an aim to fulfil them as best as possible Acquire and review patient history details as required to create treatment options Setup/monitor the treatment plans and patient progress Conduct initial and follow-up evaluations Issue prescriptions to Pharmacies and administer medication Review labs and adjust medication if required Handle telephone encounters Inform Dr. Sajan about any problems or discrepancies as they arise Keep records/notes updated with treatment details and medical events in timely fashion Develop a good rapport with patients, centered on trust and compassion Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards Collaborate effectively and courteously with other team members in the Practice EMR understanding is required (EClinicalWorks preferred)PMHNP:
