Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Helgemo & Liou Pediatrics Located in sunny Port Charlotte, Helgemo & Liou Pediatrics is an acclaimed pediatric practice with over 60 years of combined experience serving our community - and the only established pediatric group in Charlotte County. Our standard of care is exceptionally high and our practice is very busy. Our team currently includes two physicians, three full time nurse practitioners, and one PRN nurse practitioner. The ideal candidate for this full time/part time position should be:

• Hard-working and reliable.
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task.
• Possess a strong sense of compassion, empathy and patience.
• Able to work flexible hours (this position will help cover vacationing providers).
• A team player.
• Already licensed in Florida.
• Willing to learn and pitch in as needed.

Experience in pediatrics is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including well child visits and sick visits.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
