Job Description

Locum Urgent Care need - We are looking for LOCAL NP/PAs that live in the Tallahassee area. 12-15 UC shifts per month with a minimum of 4-6 month contract. NO new grads. These are high volume clinics, especially during the Fall. Hourly Rate + "Client will only cover lodging for those who live 1 hour outside of Tallahassee, and only work nights. Nothing more" +

Schedule:
12-15 shifts per month - Once orientation is complete you can pick up whatever shifts you have available.
Patient Volume:
Average of 35 patients per 12hr day, or just under 3 patients per hour.
Procedures:
Oversee urgent and primary care walk-ins and appointments of ages 2 and up as the sole provider Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, toenail removal, and orthopedic splinting. Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annuals. Evaluate patients for workers compensation injuries

Additional Info:
4 hour in clinic training/EMR training with medical leadership on day 1 Support staff will be 85% of the time an MA, sometimes they will have an RT or EMT
