Adult Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients in our outpatient . You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions while working closely with patients to develop individualized care plans that promote their overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their mental health needs. Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient-centered care principles. Provide ongoing management of psychiatric medications, including monitoring for efficacy and side effects. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including coordination with primary care providers and specialists. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of mental health services within the organization.
