Job Description

Position Overview Seeking a reliable and dedicated APRN or PA who is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. The APRN or PA will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up care, preventive services, patient education, and coordination of care. This role requires a licensed medical professional who is comfortable practicing autonomously within the scope of Florida APRN/PA regulations. The ideal candidate will be confident managing a broad range of primary care conditions, including patients with multiple chronic illnesses and complex medical and social needs. While a part-time Medical Director is available for consultation, guidance, and management of the most acute or medically complex cases, the provider will be expected to independently manage most patient care needs. The ideal candidate is flexible, resourceful, and comfortable working in a small clinic environment where teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving are essential. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments; provide preventive care, including women's health services Independently diagnose, treat and develop care plans for acute and chronic conditions Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with regulations and clinic guidelines Draw, prepare, and process laboratory specimens for patients as needed Work with support staff for specialty referrals and follow-up, Recognize higher acuity conditions and appropriately escalate or collaborate with Medical Director when indicated Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records Qualifications Current Florida APRN or PA license and active DEA license Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise strong clinical judgment Comfortable performing phlebotomy and handling/preparing lab specimens Proficiency with EMR systems; Athena experience preferred Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work in a small, team-based environment Experience in primary care, family medicine, or community health preferred Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Schedule:
Full-time, Mon-Fri:
5 days/week or 4 days/week with extended hours. No weekends or on call scheduling.
Pay:
$125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
