NP or PA (Advanced Practice Provider), Cardiology

A Qoros well - established Cardiology private practice with locations in both Titusville and Merritt Island is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The APP will provide care across both office locations within the practice.

SUMMARY:

The Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers high-quality cardiovascular care within a private practice setting, collaborating closely with the physician and the healthcare team. This role involves the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of acute and chronic cardiac conditions across both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies (e.g., ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms), developing and managing treatment plan, prescribing medications, and providing patient education focused on cardiovascular health and disease prevention. The APP will also participate in hospital rounding, consultations, and care coordination to ensure continuity of care. This position includes a shared call schedule, consisting of approximately one week every two months for hospital rounding, coverage of two holidays annually, and participation in a rotation for after-hours phone call coverage. The ideal candidate is a motivated and team-oriented clinician with strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cardiac patients in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida. Active and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Florida required. Current

BLS/ACLS

certification required. Cardiology experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training in cardiology may be considered. Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests such as ECGs, stress tests, and basic cardiac imaging. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment and ability to keep up to date with scientific and technological developments.
