The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise in taking care of Gastroenterology patients in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a commitment to delivering comprehensive patient care. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced nursing services, perform diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient-centered care and clinical excellence are prioritized. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring, to establish accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with best practices and evidence-based guidelines. Utilize electronic health record (EPIC). Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure with current certification in relevant specialties. Demonstrated experience working in an outpatient clinic. Preferably in Gastroenterology. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (preferably in Epic for) documentation and patient management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for billing and documentation purposes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching topics like nutrition and medication management.
