Job Description

APP- Nurse Practitioner Infectious Disease- Full Time Atlanta ID Group is looking for an APP to join our infectious disease (ID) practice in our Fayetteville office affiliated with Piedmont Fayette and Newnan Hospitals. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, passionate APP to join our current team of two NPs and four physicians. This is a full-time position, working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. As a member of a collaborative team of providers, the APP will provide inpatient services as a member of the infectious disease consult service at Piedmont Fayette and Newnan Hospitals. In the outpatient setting, the APP will provide HIV and general infectious disease care to a wide variety of patients in our clinic. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, flexible, takes initiative, and is able to successfully multitask. Looking for someone with excellent critical thinking, decision making, teamwork, and communication skills. Must have demonstrated interest in infectious disease. Prior experience in the field is preferred, but not required.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, days. Rotating Saturday shift. No evening or night call.
Qualifications:
Masters Degree from an accredited program. Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia. Current certification by AANP or ANCC. Demonstrated interest in infectious disease.
