Work Shift Day (United States of America) Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our inpatient Palliative Medicine team at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA. Position Highlights Full-time, employed position 7 on / 7 off schedule supporting strong work-life balance Practice in a collaborative inpatient setting focused on compassionate, patient-centered care Epic EMR Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package with sign-on bonus Occurrence-based malpractice coverage 403(b) with employer match Comprehensive Wellstar Total Rewards program supporting your wellness, financial security, and career growth Role Overview The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver inpatient palliative care services , working closely with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families through complex medical conditions. This role emphasizes symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and high-quality, compassionate care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Board Certified NP or PA Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia Prior hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred (RN experience will be considered) About Wellstar Wellstar Health System includes Wellstar Medical Group, 240 medical office locations, outpatient centers, health parks, a pediatric center, hospices, home care services, and 11 hospitals, supported by approximately 20,000 team members.
