About Hawaii Wellness Clinic Hawaii Wellness Clinic is a growing multidisciplinary healthcare practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our patients. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our team and help expand access to high-quality mental health services for our community. Position Summary The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and follow-up care for patients across a variety of mental health conditions. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and passionate about improving access to mental healthcare. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric concerns Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with state and federal regulations Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Provide education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinical standards Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population Required Qualifications Active Hawaii APRN license in good standing Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Preferred Qualifications Experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders Experience with outpatient psychiatric care Experience with telehealth services Experience in integrated primary care or wellness settings One or more years of PMHNP experience preferred; qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply What We Offer Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling options Supportive and collaborative team environment Administrative support for scheduling and patient coordination Professional development and continuing education opportunities Modern clinic environment in Honolulu Opportunity to help grow and shape behavioral health services within a thriving healthcare practice License/Certification Requirements Hawaii APRN License (Required)
