Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Urgent Care Provider provides medical services to patients; collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services, primarily in a clinical environment.
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Master of Science degree from a NLN accredited graduate program required. Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner. Licensed to practice in State of Iowa in the expanded role. Mandatory Reporter of Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Certificate.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prefer two or more years of practice in the expanded role. Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others. Maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement. Excellent team player and communication skills required

Schedule:
PRN, Varied Shifts, Weeknights 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Weekends 10:00am - 4:00pm
