• art•and creativity Boise is a premiere family friendly destination with tons of Kid friendly and Pet friendly activities If you're looking for a peaceful escape within the city•there are # of parks•The Boise River Greenbelt is a scenic path that stretches over 30 miles along the Boise river For even more adventure•head to the Bogus Basin Ski Resort and Boise Foothills•or spend a weekend in the world-famous Sun Valley or scenic McCall Boise is more than just a city-it's a lifestyle It's a place where you can start your day with a hike in the foothills•spend the afternoon exploring the local food scene•and end your evening at a downtown concert or theater show It's a community that welcomes newcomers with open arms•where people are friendly•and the pace of life is just right The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Certified Transformation Recovery Center Nurse Practitioner (TRCNP) practices in the Transformation Recovery Center (TRC) to provide a full range of services emphasizing quality•timeliness•and the advancement of the Veterans Affairs (VA) mission The NP provides advanced clinical practice•consultation•and management The NP practices to the full extent of their education•training•and certification Core functions are outlined in the clinical privileges that correspond with this position The NP has prescriptive authority for a panel of patients or program as indicated by their position Duties include•but not limited to: The NP is a licensed independent practitioner with advanced education and national certification who provides evidence-based care for a population of patients Independently manages all patients admitted to TRC with acute and chronic health conditions with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention using evidence-based practice Develops and implements an individualized plan to achieve optimal population health and disease management Demonstrates leadership and works collaboratively with other interdisciplinary team members Orders and interprets labs•tests•and diagnostic studies Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions Initiates referrals and consults to specialty services Provides education to patients and their families Assesses and adjusts the plan of care as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes Exemplifies the ICARE core values of-Integrity•Commitment•Advocacy•Respect•and Excellence VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package:
