Full Job Description Overview:
Welcome to Golden Rule Family Practice! As a small family practice, we are a team of enthusiastic healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds, and we passionately work together towards one goal - to treat every patient as if they were one of our own. We believe in comprehensiveness, continuity, and compassion while providing our care, and do everything we can to ensure each patient feels at home. As a Nurse Practitioner you will: Perform initial patient screenings, look up patient history, and perform physical examinations Diagnose, prescribe and order appropriate labs, imaging, and medications Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options Update patient records and review them during each appointment Provide patients with ongoing care information and counseling, as well as guidance for any patients with critical conditions Complete thorough, accurate and timely documentation in the electronic records Deliver timely, quality care for each and every patient Qualifications required: Master's Degree in Nursing 1+ years' NP experience Valid nurse practitioner license DEA and IL State License BLS Certified Ability to take directions and work with a team Must be familiar with EHR (Electronic Health Records) Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
