Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionateNurse Practitioner (NP)to join our growingGastroenterology (GI)team atGastropark Ridge. The ideal candidate will support our board-certified gastroenterologists in providing high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of digestive health conditions. This role is 100% inpatient.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories on GI patients in the hospital
• Call responsibility involved
• to be discussed during interview
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests related to gastrointestinal conditions
• Manage chronic GI disorders such as

GERD , IBD , IBS

, liver disease, and more

• Collaborate closely with GI physicians in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Perform follow-up care and education for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Provide pre
• and post-procedural counseling and medication management
• Document patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR system. Qualifications
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner ( FNP ) or Adult-Gerontology NP
• Minimum of 1-2 years of NP experience, preferably in a GI or internal medicine setting
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000

• 135,000 on an annualized basis.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
