Family Nurse Practitioner

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled nurse practitioner to join our primary care clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in Family Medicine/Peds, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a direct care environment. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients across various settings under the supervision of physician. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Perform procedures such as suturing, pap smear. Administer medications and injections as needed. Utilize EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient records. Engage in health coaching and patient education to promote wellness. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards. Experience Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: Pediatric experience preferred Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 for accurate medical billing. Background in emergency medicine, urgent care, or family medicine. Experience with telehealth services and outpatient care. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Previous roles in pediatrics, geriatrics, or family planning are advantageous. Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
