Position Details:

Full-time, Nights 7 on and 14 off 100% Inpatient Working with 13 Physicians and 6 APP's Ideal candidate will have experience caring for general cardiology patients as an

APP or Nurse Key Responsibilities:

Performs new cardiology consults overnight and writes consult note Implements treatment plan in consultation with on-call cardiologist and in collaboration with the hospitalist team Manages critically ill cardiac patients in collaboration with the intensivist team Monitors patient progress/status overnight and makes adjustments to the treatment plan as needed Communicates appropriately with all members of the patient care team, including providers and nursing staff In-hospital cross-cover call coverage Cardiology call service and monitor service call coverage

Qualifications:

Must hold either ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certifications

BLS/ACLS

certifications PA requires certification as a Physician Assistant in the State of Indiana NP requires certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Indiana Requires MSN as a NP in the State of Indiana; and current RN license in State of Indiana Requires clinical expertise in management of acutely and critically ill cardiac patients Knowledge of the service standards and regulatory standards governing care delivery and operations Board Certification is
