Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) | Lafayette, IN & Frankfort, IN | Full-Time About Work Comp Management Services Work Comp Management Services (WCMS) is a nationally recognized provider of occupational health, workforce health management, and onsite medical services supporting manufacturing, industrial, logistics, transportation, and government clients across the United States. WCMS partners with employers to provide onsite occupational health programs, injury management, medical surveillance, regulatory compliance support, provider services, telehealth solutions, and workforce wellness initiatives. Position Overview Work Comp Management Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing provider team supporting occupational health programs throughout the Lafayette and Frankfort, Indiana markets. This is an in-person position responsible for providing occupational health services directly at client locations and WCMS-supported clinics. The Nurse Practitioner will support multiple industrial and manufacturing clients by providing injury management, employment physicals, DOT examinations, medical surveillance services, return-to-work evaluations, and occupational health program support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing occupational injuries, collaborating with employers, and delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced occupational health environment. Key Responsibilities Perform occupational injury evaluations and follow-up care Conduct return-to-work evaluations and fitness-for-duty assessments Perform DOT physical examinations Conduct post-offer employment physicals Perform annual and medical surveillance examinations Manage workers' compensation injury cases and treatment plans Coordinate care with employers, case managers, and treating providers Collaborate with WCMS Medical Director and occupational health staff Review work restrictions and assist with return-to-work planning Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Support workplace health and wellness initiatives Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities Assist with client education and occupational health program development Support occupational health telemedicine services as needed QualificationsRequired Active Nurse Practitioner license in Indiana Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ANP, AGNP, or related specialty) Current DEA registration or ability to obtain Current BLS certification Minimum two years of clinical practice experience Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations Preferred Occupational Health experience Workers' Compensation experience DOT Medical Examiner Certification Experience performing employment and surveillance physicals Telehealth experience Manufacturing or industrial healthcare experience
Compensation & BenefitsCompensation Annual Salary:
$130,000
