Nurse Practitioner | $140K per year | Malpractice included| Full-time | Immediate Start
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY WE WILL TRAIN YOU!
Job Overview The clinic is a specialized accident care and rehabilitation clinic dedicated to helping patients recover from accident injuries, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, and workplace injuries. We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to lead patient care in our recovery clinic. This role is strictly focused on the evaluation and treatment of mild to moderate soft tissue injuries . You will treat patients of all ages—from children involved in auto accidents to adults and seniors—guiding them through the journey from acute injury to full recovery. The clinic does not prescribe controlled substances.
Hours Monday-Friday:
9AM-12:30PM; 2PM-6
PM Key Responsibilities Injury Assessment:
Perform focused exams to evaluate soft tissue injuries (whiplash, sprains, strains, contusions) and joint pain in both pediatric and adult patients.
Treatment Planning:
Implement comprehensive recovery plans, including prescribing therapeutic exercises and specialist referrals.
Diagnostic Orders:
Order X-rays and MRIs to rule out fractures or significant structural damage.
Medical-Legal Documentation:
Maintain high-quality, precise clinical documentation. Your notes must accurately detail the mechanism of injury, causation, and prognosis.
Qualifications Licensure:
Current, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner.
Age Versatility:
Must be comfortable assessing injury recovery in children (e.g., pediatric neck strain from auto accidents) as well as adults.
