Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist

Indiana University Health has an exciting opportunity for a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at IU Health Arnett Hospital at located in Lafayette, IN.

Opportunity Details:

Full time opportunity Day shift, Tuesday - Monday, 7AM - 7 PM Every other week off No Call Observation, Med Surg, and Progressive levels of care Join a team of 30 Physicians and 8 APPs Will work with 8-10 hospitalists per week and 2 Hospitalist APPs per week during day shift Will treat adult, geriatric, acute and serious health condition patients. Collaborative, positive and patient focused culture

Key Responsibilities:

Performing initial assessments on new admissions and ICU downgrades Advising physicians on new admissions, downgrades, and current Obs patients Rounding on Obs patients Discharging Obs patients

Qualifications:

Master's degree required. Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner ACNP or Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner AGNP or Family Nurse Practitioner FNP or Physician Assistant (PA) Will consider experienced or a new graduate.
