We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our collaborative healthcare team. Monday:
8:00 AM•6:00
PM Tuesday:
8:00 AM•4:30
PM Wednesday:
8:00 AM•4:30
PM Thursday:
8:00 AM•6:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM•3:00
PM Role Highlights:
100% outpatient care Manage patients of all ages with a variety of behavioral health conditions 35 patient hours and 5 administrative hours per week Supportive work environment with emphasis on work-life balance Flexible schedule; no weekends, evenings, or major holiday work Opportunities for professional growth and development Team-based collaborative care model Onsite integrated behavioral health EMR experience preferred (eClinicalWorks)
Responsibilities:
Perform physical examinations and assessments appropriate for patient age Establish medical history and patient care plans in consultation with supervising physicians Provide counseling and patient education regarding preventive care, medications, and behavioral health Participate in clinic staff meetings and other clinic-related projects as directed Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Training and experience in PMHNP specialty Effective oral and written communication skills Knowledge of behavioral health concepts, specialty treatments, and community resources Commitment to maintaining continuing medical education requirements for licensure
Requirements:
Board certification in PMHNP specialty Valid license in the State of Indiana and current DEA licensure / prescriptive authority post-hire Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; prior experience in a community health center preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Spanish language skills preferred but not required
