What You Will Do:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated independent Advanced Practice Provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected Urgent Care Clinic, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 1 physicians and 7 APPs Practice setting: Urgent Care Access to onsite X-ray and laboratory services for rapid diagnosis Employed position within a nonprofit health system Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced urgent care setting Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests including X-rays, laboratory studies, and point of care testing Provide procedures such as wound repair, splinting, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and other urgent care interventions within scope of practice Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record About the Facility K+Stat is staffed to handle multiple patients for minor illnesses and injuries, including pediatrics Serving a population of approximately 130,000 across the Manhattan and surrounding area Integrated referral network Part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system Why Physicians Choose Ascension Physician-led, collaborative culture Long-term practice stability National network with local autonomy Mission-centered care rooted in service

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience preferred.
