Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Benton, KY 42025 Part-time Part-time We have Part Time positions available. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding team. This role is designed for a seasoned clinician who is ready to make a meaningful impact across a diverse patient population and a wide range of psychiatric conditions. As an Experienced PMHNP, you will operate while being supported by a collaborative team. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. As an integral part of our behavioral health team, you will:
Deliver care in SNF, and Hospital settings as applicable to assigned role
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews
Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral health disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with an interdisciplinary team
Collaborate with facility staff on behavioral strategies and care planning
Collaborate with therapists, care coordinators, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care
Make treatment recommendations for psychotherapeutic interventions and medications Requirements & Qualifications
Licensure:
Active, unencumbered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the State of Alabama
Active PMHNP board certification (ANCC or AANP)
Required Minimum 2 years of PMHNP clinical experience
Active DEA registration
Experience in hospital, SNF, ALF, or multi-site settings strongly preferred
Strong commitment to patient-centered, culturally competent care
Passion for patient-centered care in long-term or geriatric settings
A commitment to delivering care with compassion, ethics, and integrity
Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
