Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, dedicated to providing comprehensive primary care across diverse patient populations. In this role, you will deliver high-quality medical services, perform thorough patient assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans. Your expertise will support patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, ensuring they receive attentive, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Conduct detailed physical examinations and health assessments for patients across age groups, including children, adults, and seniors. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on clinical evaluations, diagnostic results, and patient needs. Administer treatments such as botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser procedures to enhance patient well-being and confidence. Manage acute and chronic conditions by utilizing skills in pain management, infection control, and critical care practices. Perform procedures including suturing, IV insertions, catheterizations, spinal taps, and specimen collection with sterile technique. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT). Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, medication administration, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications. Skills Proven experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs. Strong proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner or similar platforms for documentation and order entry. Skilled in performing advanced procedures such as ultrasound sonography, gastroscopy preparation, or cardiac catheterization as applicable. Knowledge of hospital medicine environments including ICU or Level I/II trauma center experience; familiarity with acute care settings is highly valued. Expertise in managing complex cases involving infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health or post-acute care scenarios. Ability to triage effectively in urgent care or emergency room settings while maintaining calm professionalism under pressure. Familiarity with medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes and understanding Workers' Compensation law regulations. Experience providing telehealth services utilizing modern telemedicine platforms to expand access to care remotely. Capable of performing specialized procedures such as spinal taps, venipuncture for phlebotomy or specimen processing with precision. Excellent communication skills for patient teaching on topics like family planning or discharge planning; adept at case management and health coaching. $125,000.00 - $137,552.70 per year
