Job Description

Locum Emergency Medicine APP opportunity in Frankfort, KY for experienced PAs or NPs. Location and Setting Community hospital ED with steady patient volume and strong physician support
EMR:
Meditech Clinical Volume & Schedule Annual ED volume: ~30,000-40,000 patients Patients per hour: ~1.8-2.2 Shift length: 10-12 hours (day/evening/night) Flexible locum scheduling (weekday and weekend options) Coverage may include fast track and main ED Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients across acuity levels Perform common ED procedures within scope (laceration repair, splinting, I&D, etc.) Collaborate with board-certified emergency physicians Requirements PA or NP, board certified or eligible Emergency Medicine experience required (minimum 1-2 years preferred) Active KY license or ability to obtain ACLS and PALS required; ATLS preferred Compensation & Logistics Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience) 100% covered travel, lodging, and malpractice on top of rate Flexible scheduling Dedicated locum consultant for credentialing and scheduling support
