Seeking NP or PA for an Urgent care and wellness center in Harvey 10 -15 minutes from New Orleans

Job Summary A minimum of 1 year of urgent care experience is required for this position. Experience with wellness services is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who already have a collaborative physician in place, but one can be provided if needed. We are a new urgent care and wellness center seeking an experienced Louisiana licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We can pay for your licensing if you are out of state and want to work in Louisiana fulltime for at least two years. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of urgent care experience. We are looking for a provider who is confident, efficient, and capable of delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. We will support you but we do want an NP that will be the facility leader. The provider will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries, while also supporting additional services offered by the practice, including weight loss management, hormone-related care, occupational health services, and other wellness-focused treatments. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach to patient care. Candidates should be comfortable performing assessments, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting appropriate tests, completing accurate documentation, and managing patient flow efficiently. We are seeking someone dependable, motivated, and interested in contributing to the growth and success of a new practice. Pay is $60 an hour. Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform patient assessment and education effectively while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
