Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings, utilizing your advanced nursing skills to improve health outcomes. Your expertise will support patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment plans, and health education, ensuring high-quality care for individuals of all ages. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following established protocols and safety standards. Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, spinal taps, and dermal filler injections with precision and care. Manage urgent care cases, triage patients efficiently, and coordinate referrals for specialized services like gastroenterology or infectious disease care. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document medical records accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to advance patient care practices. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification to practice independently. Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, or outpatient clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems. Experience with telehealth services and remote patient monitoring is highly desirable. Skilled in performing procedures such as venipuncture, catheterization, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques. Background working with special populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice & palliative care, assisted living residents or individuals with developmental disabilities. Additional expertise in areas like pain management, behavioral health, occupational health, infectious disease care or trauma center experience is a plus. Pay:
$111,801.20 - $134,642.30 per year
