Job Description

Position Summary Affinity Health Walk In Clinic is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is experienced in evaluating and treating patients with acute illnesses and injuries and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and conducting physical examinations. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies and imaging when appropriate. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Prescribe medications and provide medication management in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols. Perform common urgent care procedures such as wound care, suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, foreign body removal, and other procedures within scope of practice. Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation using electronic health record systems, including EPIC. Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a positive patient experience.
Pay:
$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
