We are looking for a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Community Behavioral Health Center in Quincy, MA. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides high-quality, patient-centered mental health care in an outpatient setting. This role involves conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulating treatment plans, prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support clients' mental wellness and recovery.
Schedule:
In-person, full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday days (some on-call responsibilities)Location:

Masters in Psychiatric Nursing from an ANA accredited School of Nursing Continuing education credits as required by the ANA certification of expanded role authorization Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Nursing Registration American Nursing Association Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Registration with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health in accordance withMGL C. 94C DEA
# showing registration with the US Federal Drug Enforcement Administration Medicare Provider Clozaril Certification strongly preferred Extensive work/training (3-5 years) in a behavioral healthcare setting, experience working in inpatient psychiatry preferred Must have experience prescribing for adults, experience prescribing for both adults and children is preferred, but not required Prior experience working with dual diagnosis Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychopharmacology-therapeutics beyond generic nursing education Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
