This contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry by delivering high-quality psychiatric care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment to patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will help shape treatment plans and ensure continuity of care, playing a pivotal role in improving patient outcomes within our psychiatric services. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders Prescribe medication and monitor patient responses Provide psychotherapy and counseling services as needed Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Monitor and manage the mental health needs of patients Educate patients and their families about mental health issues Requirements Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Massachusetts Prior experience in psychiatric care preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Knowledge of mental health assessment techniques Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems Commitment to maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach
Schedule:
4-5 days/week (24 hours total)

Outpatient Weekly Volume:
10-25 patients
Patient Population:
Adults Duties:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary PACT team on treatment planning
Case Types:
Psychiatric disorders and high-acuity patients
EMR:
CareLogic Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Additional Certifications:
DEA and CSR Paid travel & expenses
