Job Description

An outpatient behavioral health program is seeking a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Worcester County, Massachusetts. This role provides psychiatric assessment, medication management, and collaborative care for individuals with complex mental health needs in a community-based treatment setting.  About the

Schedule:
Flexible, 4-5 days per week
Hours:
Approximately 24 hours per week
Setting:
Outpatient community-based care
Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services for adult patients. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Deliver care through community outreach and office-based outpatient visits. Monitor patient progress, medication effectiveness, and treatment adherence. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. DEA registration. Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration. Psychiatric experience. Ability to work independently in community and outpatient settings. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with high-acuity behavioral health populations. Familiarity with care transitions and coordinated services in community mental health. Experience using an electronic medical record system for behavioral health documentation.
