Job Description

Organization Overview Based in Hagerstown, Maryland, this progressive, physician-led medical organization offers comprehensive neurological, internal medicine, and specialty care services across outpatient clinics and affiliated hospitals in Germantown and Silver Spring. The organization features advanced neurodiagnostic capabilities, a collaborative clinical culture, and a strong focus on patient-centered care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. Position Summary The facility is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its growing neurology team across clinic and hospital settings in Germantown and Silver Spring, MD. Candidates from Family Medicine or other primary care backgrounds with a strong interest in neurology are encouraged to apply. This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for an APP with neurology experience OR Spanish-English bilingual skills (Spanish required) The role includes a mix of outpatient clinic visits and inpatient hospital responsibilities, along with shared call coverage (approximately one weekend per month) . Scheduling and responsibilities are flexible and can be tailored for the right candidate. Essential Position Responsibilities Provide neurological care in both outpatient clinics and hospital settings. Conduct patient evaluations, follow-ups, and consultations for a range of neurological conditions. Collaborate with neurologists, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. Assist in the management of acute and chronic neurological disorders. Participate in hospital rounding and shared call coverage. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system. Support patient education and care continuity across settings.
Qualifications Education:
Master's or Doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Certification:
Board Certified NP or PA; eligible for Maryland licensure.
Experience:
Neurology experience preferred; candidates from Family Medicine or related backgrounds with strong interest in neurology will be considered.
Language:
Spanish-speaking required; bilingual (Spanish-English) strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills in a team-based environment. Compensation Annual compensation ranges from $110,000 to $160,000 , based on experience and productivity. Flexible compensation structure and scheduling options available for the right candidate.
