Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established Strike Team. At this time, we can only consider candidates who meet the following criteria: 2+ years of inpatient acute care experience as an advanced practice provider, Residing within Maryland or easy access to Calvert, Charles, Anne Arundel and Harford Counties. Our Strike Team is an internal "locums" team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who travel to our designated sites to provide temporary coverage. This is a full time position - 14 shifts per 28-day block - with a very competitive salary and great benefits! This position requires at least two years of acute inpatient experience as an advanced practice provider, and the willingness to travel to our partner sites in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan as needed. Job Description Our hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge. Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed Requirements 1+ years acute inpatient experience as an advanced practice provider Strong inpatient skill set Quality-focused team player Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team Effective oral and written communication skills Commitment to providing exceptional patient care Active license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state
Controlled Substance Registration, BLS and ACLS Salary Range:
