The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients in their home with wounds, injuries, or ostomies, ensuring optimal healing and recovery. Duties
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement appropriate wound care treatments and procedures
  • Monitor patients' progress and response to treatments
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of wound care interventions Requirements
  • Strong background in patient care with a focus on wound management
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to wound care
  • Knowledge of sterile processing techniques
  • Experience with skin graft substitutes for wound healing is advantageous
