The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the physician and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education across various settings such as clinics and emergency rooms. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Perform various medical procedures such as IV infusion, dermabrasion, and other clinical interventions as needed. Manage patient care in both clinic and emergency room settings, ensuring adherence to established standards of care. Document patient interactions accurately using electronic health record systems like eClinical Works or other systems. Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Participate in critical care management when necessary. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to ensure effective communication within the healthcare team. Skills Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems. Strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology to facilitate accurate assessments and documentation. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
