The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions. As an FNP, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories. Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic illnesses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention. Perform various clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, catheter care, and gastric lavage as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across various settings, including assisted living facilities. Utilize medical imaging techniques when necessary to support diagnosis. Address behavioral health concerns in patients by providing appropriate referrals or interventions. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to family practice. Experience in critical care settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with toddler care practices is a plus. Ability to perform dialysis procedures is advantageous. Previous experience in assisted living environments is beneficial. Knowledge of behavioral health practices will enhance patient care delivery.
