Position Overview:
Henry Ford Health is seeking a contingent (PRN) Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. This role is open to NNPs only, with a minimum of three years of Level
III NICU
experience required. The NNP will provide comprehensive care to high-risk neonates, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex neonatal conditions in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This position offers flexible, as-needed scheduling and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and supportive neonatal care team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Employment contingent upon credentialing and completion of Employee Health screening per HFHS policy.
Qualifications:
NNP Only with Current MI licensure. 2-5 years' experience, preferred. National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA) BLS required Education & Training Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP): Completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program (CCNE or NLNAC) Licensure Current licensure as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, in the State of Michigan, or in the process of applying (proof of application required)
Certification NNP :
Certification by the National Certification Corporation (NCC) Required Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) - required DEA /
Controlled Substance Licensure PA:
DEA and Michigan Controlled Substance License (CSL) required through credentialing
NP:
