OVERVIEW

Functions as part of a team to meet the mission of the Traverse Health Clinic in collaboration with the Chief Clinical Officer working as a member of the Clinic team to provide primary care and chronic disease management in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) clinical setting to non-emergency, patients across the age span. Provides consultation and advice to others as a highly specialized practitioner while maintaining collaborative peer relationships with all members of the Clinic team. Seeking candidate with a passion for serving underserved populations. Supports integrated role in Recovery Program working along side other medical and behavioral health professionals to support patients with substance use disorders. Stable, primarily day time hours with potentially 1 or 2 evening shifts weekly to 7pm, no weekends, no major holidays. Enjoy a work/life balance year round! Minimum of a Master's degree in nursing with a clinical focus in family (FNP) or adult (AGNP) practice with at least 3 years NP experience and a current State of Michigan Registered Nurse License and Michigan Nurse Practitioner Certification. Ability to relate well with diverse populations of varying socio-economic backgrounds.
