Job Description
Overview RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN. RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area. 7 a.m.- 7 p.m. Monday
- Friday, and 9 a.m.

$65.00- 85.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, specialty, and availability RiverView Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to work On-call in our Clinics. Clinic hours of operation are 7 a.m.
- 7 p.m. Monday
- Friday, and 9 a.m.
- 1 p.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical exams
- Interpret and correlate laboratory and diagnostic procedures
- Formulate differential diagnoses and establish working diagnoses
- Conduct hospital rounds, discharge planning, and consultative evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop care plans
- Document patient data including admission/discharge notes and progress notes
- Implement therapeutic interventions and prescribe medications/devices
- Perform minor procedures within scope (e.g., wound management, injections
- Provide patient education and facilitate medical documentation
- Participate in research, database management, and quality assurance
Qualifications Minimum Job Qualifications:
Current licensure by the Minnesota State Board of Nursing Active license & current ANCC or AANP board certification required Must have or able to obtain DEA registration CPR/BLS certification required at time of start, or certified training will be provided as part of orientation Excellent communication, time‑management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage patient flow efficientlyPreferred Job Qualifications:
Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability 2+ years of experience with Independent family practice experience including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits Strong collaborative practice experience working with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation standards; Epic experience desirableSimilar jobs in Crookston, MN
